Introduction and Inspiration I

I don't think I was ever one of those little girls who fantasized about a fairytale wedding. You know, with lace, tulle, the whole nine yards. I think I was too engrossed in daydreams about ponies and pony-related endeavors.

At twenty-four years old, I still don't necessarily fantasize about a fairytale wedding. And yet, here we are. This is going to be an interesting journey..and an exciting one. I look forward to this process more than I ever thought I would.

Some things you (dear reader) should know about me before we begin:

1. This is NOT going to be a traditional wedding. I don't care for the pageantry. I just want to have a fantastic party with my (future and current) family and friends.
2. I have no idea what I'm doing.
3. This whole process (read: writing a blog) is going to dissolve into me posting adorable pictures of my puppy. I can already guarantee this.

Without further ado, let's begin with the photo I have carried around for a little over a year now. This is my color palette. Coincidentally, these are also going to be my wedding flowers.
Lucky for me, these flowers appear to be in season for my anticipated wedding date (this will be revealed later).
